Supporting families and individuals through neurodiverse-affirming care. With expertise, honesty, and a focus on real outcomes.
Diane Rubino, LCSW
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with analytic training and over 20 years specializing in children, adolescents, and families navigating neurodiversity. My approach is direct, evidence-based, with deep curiosity. I want to understand the whole person, not just the symptoms. Whether I’m coaching parents through their child’s ADHD challenges, working directly with kids through play therapy, helping adults untangle anxiety and old narratives, or guiding through major transitions, my goal is the same: equip you with what actually works.
I work out of a private office in Westchester where kids can play, talk, and be themselves, and where parents can speak openly without judgement. I meet clients where they need me: in my office, at your home for observation with younger kids, or via telehealth when that’s the right fit. The goal is creating the right environment for the work we need to do.
I’m committed to outcomes, which means I’ll tell you honestly what I can help with and what I can’t. If your child needs occupational therapy, a specialized evaluation, or a different kind of support, I’ll refer you to the right resources. You can always come back to me when you’re ready. My job is to help you move forward, and ensure you’re stepping in to new stages of progress no matter what.
